The experience acquired in these first 35 years, in which change has been assumed as a continuous challenge, has allowed us to add value in the execution of challenging projects destined to contribute to the economic growth and development of the countries of the continent in which Y&V has acted (Canada, USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia).
More than 1,400 projects of significant complexity, successfully executed in the areas of oil, gas, petrochemicals, electrical energy, infrastructure, manufacturing industry and buildings, accredit us as a reliable provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction services.
The managerial, professional and technical talent of our workers, allies and collaborators, has been the key component to achieve the response capacity we have today. From our facilities in Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela, the Y&V team is able to execute quality projects with critical schedules at any place in the regional geography.
A fundamental part of Y & V's development strategy is its ability to partner with the best international companies in our sector, thus we have executed a significant number of projects in consortium and partnerships with the most recognized engineering and construction companies in countries such as the United States, Spain, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Colombia and Mexico. These include Technip, Foster Wheeler, Toyo Engineering, Snc-Lavalin, Schlumberger, Hatch, Tecnimont, Fluor, Ferrostaal,, Snamprogetti, Duro Felguera, Enppi, Bay Ltd, Outokumpu, Powerchina, Sinohidro,, Coniisa, KBR and Baker Hughes.
Towards our clients, we have privileged joint work methodologies that imply strict compliance with schedules and budgets. We are proud of our international certifications such as the Quality System certificate, ISO 9001: 2015 Standard for Engineering, Procurement and Construction services that we have maintained since 1999, the Management System certificate, ISO 45001: 2018 standard for Engineering, Procurement and Construction Services (since 2012) as well as the certificate of our Environmental Management System under the ISO 14001: 2015 Standard (since 2011).
Looking ahead, Y&V continues to strengthen its presence in the continent's markets to meet the demand for Engineering, Procurement and Construction services in the COVID and POST COVID-19 environment. We want to participate actively and purposefully in the regional economic boost, by participating in the development of important projects for the traditional and emerging energy sector.
Our constant updating in terms of digitization and technological innovation allows us to adapt with agility to the new reality derived from the pandemic and safely assume our projects wherever they are built.
Strategic alliances will continue to be fundamental for our growth, by allowing us to participate in the execution of important projects, mitigating risk and taking advantage of the opportunity to add our capacity and EPC experience in the different productive sectors, with an efficient format adaptable to projects of different dimensions and degrees of complexity.
